World Backstory
What a difference a century makes! 100 years ago, San Marina was just a maritime village. That all changed when a Plumbot Pictures backlot opened. Practically overnight, San Marina went from a town of seafarers into a major showbiz hub. Not all the change has been good. As San Marina became more glamorous, the rural and industrial districts were left behind. The result? Homelessness, poverty-stricken areas and a major crime wave as the poorer areas of San Marina became worse over time.
Then there’s this other issue–the kids. Thanks to flaky parenting and exposure to celebrity culture, the latest generation of San Marina couldn’t be more spoiled, self-entitled or ill-mannered. Is San Marina doomed to be at the mercy of these brats when they reach adulthood, or can Nanny Rose, famed reality TV star of Nanny Knows Best, save the day?

Specifications:
Below are the specs and some other important information you need to know:
- San Marina is an extremely large world with 212 lots. Because of this, it’s not recommended for computers that can’t handle large worlds.
- San Marina needs the following EPs: University, Island Paradise, Ambitions, Late Night, World Adventures, Generations, Showtime, Seasons and Pets
- It requires Riverview from the Sims 3 store
- Fast Lane is optional but is highly recommended, as a few households use motorbikes and scooters
- Sims 3 store (optional): One of the lots uses an object from the Sims 3 store, the Surf’s Up Sun & Fun Wave Station”, an object that simulates surfing on the ocean water. It’s completely optional, but really adds to the world.
- San Marina is CC-free!
San Marina 1.2
A minor update to San Marina that includes a fixed version of two specific lots–Old Tyme Brewery Inc and The Poseidon Community Center. If you have San Marina 1.0, you do not need to download this version. All you need is to download two additional lots in the section below labeled “Fixed Lots Download”.
San Marina 1.2 Bus Edition™
This is a save file that uses Lyralei’s Bus Manager mod to add working buses in San Marina. To learn more, read this announcement or read the README.txt file that is included in the save file:
San Marina 1.0
This is the first official release of San Marina, with planned future updates when necessary. If you download this version, please download the lots in the section labeled “Fixed Lots Download”, as they come with minor errors. If you haven’t downloaded this version, please download 1.2 instead.
There are two lots with minor errors in San Marina 1.0 that will be fixed in a later update. For now, players can simply download, bulldoze and add fresh copies in-game. The two lots are the following:
Old Tyme Brewery
This is the home of the Haxxors group, who live in Poseidon (the shabby area of San Marina by the junk yard and Habbo Hotel). It was missing the callbox. Because of this, friends won’t be able to visit the household without it.
Poseidon Community Center
The drawing boards at the community center were missing stools. This is an issue that is easily fixed by players, but an updated version has been uploaded for convenience!
